well, just to let you know: it's official now.
sheridan smith has been confirmed to play the new elle woods in legally blonde, duncan james (ex-"blue" member o.O) is warner and alex gaumond plays emmet.
it'll open on january 12th 2010! >.< (dammit! i was hoping it would open before i go back to germany...)

Under normal circumstances I would be crying at the fact that Duncan James has been cast instead of a proper musical theatre performer but I actually think he'll be quite good in this part!

on one hand i loath duncan from blue, but on t'other i think sheridan smith is ace.

however if i'm making a trip to london to go to see any production, not going to lie, it's gunna be wicked.

I'm super excited about this, Sheridan's amazing so that's great news. Due to the fact that I nearly burst yesterday when I found out I decided to try my hand at this forum building lark. I've just heard that Caroline Keiff will be playing Vivienne and also that Andy Mace will be in it! Might not be true though. But i sooo want to see it now if they're in it!

I read a magazine article that said Caroline was going to be in it but I didn't know she was going to be Vivienne! Love it! She'll be awesome!

Yeah, I remember reading the thing announcing the cast, I think it said Andy is playing Elle's dad? I can't quite remember.
