Fran, dear, if you went quiet who would entertain us?!

Why thankyou! *bows in Glinda-esque manner*...I'm going to take that as a compliment whether it was intended as one or not! lol

Well, I prefer the 'Team Pilkington' on the front and the crest/emblem and usernames/ real names on the back concept the best...for the purposes of the, as you put it Meesh, *non-stalker* SD pic!! So if anyone has any strong objections then speak now because maybe, just maybe, we're reaching our second consensus!! Exciting stuff

So...everyone have your say with regard to the design and THEN we can go on to a fortnight long dicussion about what colours we're going to have! lol  These hoodies have got to be perfect for the Pilky...I'm sure they'll be worth all the time and effort (and discussions...and me blathering on!) in the end! :D

I'm deffo feeling this design guys :D Sounds soo good! I'm loving the big crest on the back :)

And as for colours  :
We could do white and I thought maybe the crest could be a light pink and the writing more bright? (but bad for the messys  )
Or
Green with bright pink writing like in the one I posted before (but it might look a bit bright and clashy :?)
Or
Maybe pale pink with pale-but-not-as-pale ( ) green writing

Just generally either pale top with bold writing or the other way around really

Wadya think ? :D

I'd always sorta imagined it white but I get where ppl are coming from with the whole spilling stuff down it! lmao...I'm sitting here right now actually with a chocolate mousse stain on my top!

My only colour imput will be...I really think we NEED pink on it somewhere!! and I see what you mean FlyingInMyBubble about the pink and green being a bit too clashy...hmmm it's a tough one!!

''Just generally either pale top with bold writing or the other way around really'' - exactly!! Methinks pale main colour and bolder colour writing would be the best...the colours may be the toughest choice to make...GREY?? sorry, just popped into my head thinking about the actual Wicked hoodies - maybe? maybe not? (for the main colour I mean, not the text :) )

Yeah grey seems like a good idea, our school uses that a lot so it must be good  although maybe people might think we are trying to copy the Wicked ones? Not that that matters  And yes we definitely need pink!! I think that's pretty much compulsory

I am totally on board with the whole design/names/crest idea that we have reached!! As for colours, I like the pink and green just cuz of the whole Glinda/Elphaba significance but I do see what you mean with the clashing of the colours... grey would work too... oh it's just so hard to choose!! lol!

Our second consensus *sob* - so emotional!

Fran - it was a compliment! TheatreFanFran wrote:

LMAO!!!!!! Geez, we really are that bad - it must be the October deadline methinks, too much time to think...

On the colour front, maybe we're looking a bit too literally at green and pink as they're obvious - maybe we should consider what other colours stand out re: Dianne, Elphie, Glinda or Wicked in general...just a thought...well, the only ones I can think of at the moment are black and silver which is pretty much like the Wicked ones! What about pink with white/grey writing rather than white with pink writing - for all you messy people - may have been suggested already but whatever 8)

6 days away and it takes nearly half an hour to catch up on all the goings on on this thread only. loving the effort folks.

i liked the green and pink, we would certainly stand out. i had a white hoodie one time... it's no longer white. sad times all round. i like the idea of grey though, grey and really bright pink would look ace.

and i really like the crest. thumbs up for that.

Lmao! I know - I'm too scared not to come on the board everyday in case I miss a consensus being reached!!
I was liking the white text idea...cos I think pretty much any background colour could work with it as long as it's bright and not pale (so the writing stands out)
BUT! Then I looked on the Spreadshirt website and it seems to me that you can only have hoodies in certain (rather dull) colours but...I thought pink and grey might work quite well...sorry about the blurry print screen pic but on this you can see the menu of hoodie colour options as well as what pink n grey would look like ...

Sorry - just thought as well ... we need to be bearing in mind the colours of the crest cos if the crest is mainly pink, for example, it would be stupid to have a pink background. Pleeeease can someone tell me what the colours of the crest are or take pity on me and repost it/send it to me cos I STILL can't see it  I feel like I'm out of the loop crest-wise!

I've just had a thought! We coooould have (if we're feeling ambitious) a pop art style picture of Dianne on the hoodies!! :o Don't ask me how the hell we'd do it it or where we'd get the pop art style print from but...it was just a thought! It might look a bit tacky tho and unless we did it really well it would look really bodged up! Just something for you to think about tho! It looks awesome in my head! lol I can imagine the pic in all one colour...hope you guys know what the hell I'm on about!!
OOOO found an example of what I mean...yes, I know it's Barack Obama  but it's just to illustrate my point...(last waffled post of the day from me, I promise *crosses fingers*)

For some reason, I can't see the crest either now, though I could see it initially?!

I'm liking the pink on grey muchly, just wondering at the mo how much it's gonna cost! Simplicity may be the best policy - not that I don't like the idea of having her picture on it, I just think it would take at least 2 months to get an agreement on which picture to use!

cos that's the classic! but I know what you mean about keeping it simple! Even if we don't do that tho, I'd be curious to know how to actually do those pop arty thing so...if anyone knows!! Btw, Meesh, this delightful site has informed me that it's your birthday so...HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! :D

Yeah - I noticed that about 10mins ago...why is it there?! But thank you, I intend to celebrate long into the night :D

Back to important matters, there's the problem of font-style AS WELL as colour to consider...!

It won't let me add attachments  The pic I mean tho was the one of Dianne in the I'm Not That Girl get-up! The close up one...cos it's purdy! And was her first official Wkd one that was released.

And, as for font, I liked the font FlyingInMyBubble used on her first hoodie design on page 1 :)
