I don't know how many of you know this but Dianne played Lucy in Sweeney Todd long ago. And now that the movie is out (I saw it and OMG gotta love Johnny Depp and Helena B. Carter!) I can't help it and must think how awesome she would be in that role again in the movie.

I want to hear her sing 'By The Sea'. Soooo much!

I'm sure if she sang "The Worst Pies In London", it'd be absolutely great and hilarious! It was the first ST-song I knew, and it's still my favourite.

i think she might have played mrs lovett at gsa? i dunno but she would be really good. i saw this movie last week and its brilliant!

I saw the movie a couple of months ago, and it totally freaked me out!! I would never watch the movie again, but if Dianne would be in it in the future, I suppose I could put myself through it *holds throat*

She would make a brilliant Mrs Lovett, and I love all the songs she sings

*laughs* AWESOME! She did say she would love to play Mrs. Lovett and I'm 100% positive she'd be bloody fantastic! Sweeney Todd is one of my favorite stories and the film with Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter is just...it's rocks. Very, very hard.

The only complaint I have, though is... If Dianne ever played Mrs. Lovett on stage, uh, she would die. You all remember this, correct? xDD T'would just be sad, that... Not something I want to watch. ;__;

Course, she's probably too young to do it professionally at the moment, isn't she? I mean, most Mrs Lovetts tend to be in their 40s, at least. The majority are older than that.

At the moment. Sweeney Todd hasn't been on stage with its own theatre for an extended period of since 1994--it's only been quick 1 month or so shots and come random NA tours. The story is so hugely loved, though, I can't not see a revival sometime in the future. Knock Hair out of the rankings for sure! xD And when that time comes....

We cheer for Dianne...

Froth and scream and squeal and pass out if she ends up ever in it...

And look away at the finale...because no one wants to witness that.

I had a random thought the other day. It like, finally hit me that Dianne actually played the BEGGAR WOMAN. The Beggar Woman, with all of her crazyness and attempting to have sex with various characters! I wish I could have seen her in it, her 'Alms, Alms' would have been comedy!

'Would ya like a little muff dear, a little jig jig, a little bounce around the bush? Would ya like to push me parsley, it seems to me dear, like you got plenty there to push!'

Oh my! Now that would have been HILARIOUS!! If only we could have seen it!
