unless im being really blonde i havent seen any stage door stories

and as im soooooooooo bored i thought id start one!

soooo ...

i took my little brother to london in april. he wanted to see lion king but i thought i couldnt pass up a chance to see wicked again so i saved really hard to see both

he was excited for weeks and kept saying he was going to have his picture taken at the stage door ( i didnt ask last time so i was going to make sure i did!)

when we got to the stage door we had some autographs done (ollie wasnt there i was gutted!) then dianne came out i asked very nicely do you mind if we have our picture took with you? of course dianne being dianne she agreed. josh (my brother) then panicked and screemed oh no! i dont want mine took!

i shouted at him and said come on joshy we havent come all this way not to

then dianne shouted YES!! come on joshy! and pulled him towards her for a picture

he wasnt very impressed he thought it was me who forced him to have it taken i got told off! he didnt believe me that it was dianne

He did not want to have a picture with Dianne? Your brother sounds like a funny little guy.

I love that Dianne is so nice to her fans, it always makes me love her even more!

yeah hes a strange 1 hes only 7 i think he was abit freaked out tbh cz she looks so different in costume he doesnt really understand hes having problems with johnny depp atm he cant understant how he links with sweeney todd edward scissor hands, and pirates

That's one of the best stage door stories I've heard - Dianne is sooo funny! Mind you, I'd probably be a bit like your brother at stage door cos I get so star-struck in situations like that - I haven't dared myself to go Stage Door yet, I'd just make a fool of myself! lol

Oh you wouldn't! Stage door is so much fun and the best thing is that the actors always met someone more nervous/talkative/silly like you are! When I make a fool of myself at SD I always think "Ha, it's not like she's not used to this! I am not the first one!" LOL
But I am sure Dianne woudl be soooo nice!

Hopefully I'm going to see Wicked this Summer (eighth time!! Woooo!) so I might dare myself!!

I ALWAYS make a fool of myself! I just want to dig a hole and hide. And thinking back about what I said to them at the stage door, I always growl.

yeah i always get nervous and say stupid things.
One week we were waiting for mark evans before the mat and our friends little sister (whos 7) was there but mark didn't come and we were so upset and we talked about it the whole time. then the next week we went and the little sister was there again and when mark came, she goes up to him and says 'all these two could talk about last week was you, they really like you' or something like that. I actually could have died! he was so nice about it though, he just goes oh really? thats nice?!! I love him x

Any other dianne stage door stories - or any other stories in general - i like them - mainly because i dont have any myself

Never met Dianne. The only time I've been to the stage door, Sarah was on! :rolleyes: She was lovely though, just not Dianne!

My SD story is rather un-exciting but ah well.

Me & my friend (who is considerably less Dianne obsessed, but a trillion times more excitable) waited for literally an hour and a half after the Saturday matinee (5th July) but she never came out..

We *had* kind of realised that everyone else had come out and gone back in for the evening show (and it was like 6 o'clock..) but we stayed anyway..

There were these two guys in their late-twenties or something who were waiting too, and they were all 'Omg, are you waiting for Dianne?!?!?!'
'Um.. yes..'
(Then these other poeple asked if we were waiting for 'Ellis' and we were like 'Kerry Ellis? No.. She's in America..')

Then Jeremy Legat (Boq) and the Boq u/s went back in so the other guys begged them to make Dianne come out but they refused

So we crossed the road and looked for her dressing room.. Then we went home with me yelling 'THE DAY'S BEEN RUUIIIINEEED!' and my friend telling me to shut up because her mum bought the tickets...


But we were on Row C and were the only people on that row who stood up, and we sceamed and waved, so Dianne waved back. But I'd have rather she SD'd.


There of course was a theory as to why Caroline and Dianne didn't come out and Oli was in a really evil mood. But you don't want to know that
