OK guys I know this is totally off the subject but I'm auditioning for Oliver! in a couple of weeks and thought I might audition for the role of Bet. The only thing is I've never seen it on stage so I have no idea what Bet is like. Can anyone give me ideas, eg what's her character like. how many lines does she have (if any) etc...

I don't know much about her sorry.. but i've seen the film and she doesn't really have a lot to say she's just nancy's best friend and hangs around with nancy a lot! I'd say she was kind of like a quieter version of nancy! but i guess you could interpret it in whatever way really! GOOD LUCK!!

Yeh I figured she was more on the quiet side. I was glued to YouTube all day yesterday trying to fing videos with her in them. I found a great on with Ruthie Henshall in it. That gave me a good idea and then I found clips from the film so I'm a bit more savvi about it now. Thanks anyway. The shows in Glasgow so if you're willing to drag yourselves up here then by all means do Thanks for the help.

AAAH! It's my Bet audition tomorrow! Practising like mad! I'm not too worried about the singing side of it it's more the acting part that's getting me, helpful isn't it? lol. Well, I'll let you al lknow how it goes. Any last minute tips? luv yas xx

Heya, well the cast got announced yesterday. I didn't get the part, a girl called Julie did and she was really good. I'm ok about it. Didn't really think I'd get it but it was a great experience and I'm still in the show so it should be really fun. Roll on November! xx
