I'm pretty sure it is "flounce" Kristin definitely sings it as flounce and in the recording I have of Dianne she says "flounce". Maybe it's one of those alternate word changes like how Dianne sings "show you have to do your hair" as opposed to "fix your hair"?

Aaaah, yeah, it is flounce, I'm just being retarded. This is what happens when you listen to the German cast recording all the time: you forget the English lyrics!

Might have to have a major listening to of English recordings before tomorrow, because I have all the German versions stuck in my head at the moment cause they're so awesome, lmao.

Seriously, I can't hear the words 'Defying Gravity' anymore without thinking 'etwas in mir ist anders'...

It's not even like I remember much German, I've forgotten most of it after a year of not doing it.

Oh, yes, defo to the German cast being STUNNING! I actually just bought the CD earlier today... To ease the pain of Kerry leaving? I don't know, but it was expensive so no doubt my mind was in London and still not really Stuttgart...

Last night, when Oli came swinging out on the rope in the cornfield scene, it got caught round his rifle. He was standing there pointing at the guards with it still wrapped round, his eyes shut and this look of "oh i don't believe it" and a wry grin on his face!

Very funny, everyone was laughing. Of course, he very nonchalantly removed it with an exagerrated *toss* over his shoulder to send it back into the wings

My sister just reminded me of a mistake when we went in April...

At the end when Dianne is meant to be in the bubble flying she went and stood in it and they strapped her in and everything, only it didn't fly! She looked kind of confused but continued like a pro until eventually someone decided to unclip her from it and she just stepped out! Only a small thing but thought I would mention it now I have also been reminded!

Also a small thing was that one of the monkeys lost his tail several times while climbing and jumping etc, in the end he just left it on the floor!

Wait, if the bubble didn't float up for the finale, then wouldn't Di have been like, right beside Kerry and Ollie? Or was it far off to the left...? It's been a while. xP
But either way; amazing! I love watching how actors on stage deal with these tech mistakes; they're such pros about it! If you'd never seen the show before, you wouldn't know anything went wrong! Luuuuuv. <3 <3 <3

Hah, and as for the monkey thing--for some reason it reminded me of all the lions in the Lion King. They all have such LONG tails! Throughout the show, I was completely expecting at least one of the actors to step on a tail, whether it be their own or someone else's. xD Would have been interesting for sure!
But what did they do with the monkey's discarded tail then, if he just left it there? xDD

Yeah she was like right next to them then she decided to step forward a little bit so they were just behind her (but to her left), so that she didn't "see" them leaving!

Oh I know, seriously if I was in the Lion King I think all my time would be spent looking down to see what was going on with tails so I didn't step on one or trip over it!! Yeah the tail was just left there and then one of the ensemble kicked it to the side and I lost track of whether somebody picked it up or what, but it was quite funny!

Silly stage tech people, though... Bubble not flying? Things like this seem to happen a bit more often than they should. Enthralling enough sure, if ye've seen it enough to get on what's happening, but if something serious were to happen... Well, I just hope it doesn't. Yeah...

It is true that a lot of tech mistakes have been happening lately (or maybe they have always been but we just didnt know about them?).
Eiher way,I hope they have the security under control.
Im always scared the dragon's head will fall off lol.
