Shut up you all UK people... :-) Just kidding, ok, but... I live in Italy and I'm Japanese, so I beat you all, sadly :-(
You're so lucky to live in the UK, I mean I like Italy, it isn't all that bad, but I so wish I didn't have to fly to go to London
Anyway, maybe I'm coming for the next academic year with an exchange program, any chances to meet some of you Dianne-fans? No one knows about her here :(

Oh, and welcome! I'm so rude, always talking about myself, sorry

I think I'd rather be in Italy! Oh wait, I will be in May... :D

Well if we have a group trip to see The Wolf Man, maybe everyone can meet up. And sneak all you under-agers in of course! Speaking of which, am I the only person that actually LIKES horror movies?! My joint favourite genre along with Musicals!

Well I'll be almost 17 when the Wolfman comes out, it shouldn't be too much of a problem.
You don't seem in very good company Meesh if you like horror films  It looks like most people here on the forum want to bring a teddy bear with them
You're coming to Italy? Great! Where are you going, if I can ask? May is a good month I guess, though I've been in the UK three times and I bet you'll find Italy VERY warm :-)
See you!

You can keep your houses don't worry! :)

I think this is what it will look like :S with Italy!

And yes I'm generally terrified and wimpish when it comes to scary films

Hey FlyingInMyBubble this is so cute!
Still I think that maybe it's easier to come to England at some point rather than move the whole country... Not sure but just making a guess
Well I shouldn't complain, there were times when people would never be able to travel as we do, and there are still a lot of people who can't just move from one place to another, so I'm lucky after all :-)

I like Duffy too, though she isn't so popular in Italy, after "Mercy" she kind of disappeared here. I got to listen to some of her other songs through YouTube though, and my sister likes her too! We used to sing "Warwick Avenue" everytime we were moving by car (for my parents' joy  ).

Hmmm I suppose
Warwick Avenue is such a good song! Shame she fizzled out :( Have you heard Rain on my Parade? I <3 that song!

Smile - I'm going to Venice. Again! Love it there :)

FlyingInMyBubble, that map is quality! Though maybe you can just bring everyone down South - I think our weather is a teeny bit better

I'm not going to knock Duffy, but I found her album a bit of a let-down. Too much filler, not enough killer! All the songs she's released have been great - I really loved "Mercy" - but she's a bit like P!nk, release-wise her singles are good but the albums themselves are a bit dull. Just my opinion, mind!

You're not the only one, I really like scary films. The Birds being my favourite. Also agree with you on Duffy, don't think I could listen to her album the whole way through without getting bored. And I'm v. jealous of your going to Venice.

From your map it looks like Doncaster is the place to be, but if Turin was really that close I'd be happy there too. Although Rome's pretty near too!

Ahh, The Birds - an excellent choice! The Haunting - b&w 1963 version - is my absolute fav! I much prefer movies that scare rather than gore-fests (though they have their place of course...!). Ok, so that's 2 of us who wont be hiding during The Wolf Man.

Venice is great! I live pretty close to Venice (well about two hours by car), but I don't get the chance to go there too often sadly.
About the map, if you worry about the weather you can imagine that it isn't Italy that moved to the North but the UK that is next to Italy... So you'll have quite a warm weather ;-)

I haven't listened to the whole Duffy's album, just heard some songs on YouTube (btw FlyingInMyBubble, I'll check that song out!). So I don't know. Anyway I'm a Janis Joplin and psychedelic rock fan so any kind of music (except musical theatre) will find me quite skeptical lol.

This is indeed a very active Newbies post!

Hmmm yes that's VERY good thinking! :D

Ha :D I like pretty much everything so if I recommend bad songs I'm sorry :P

Don't worry I'm just a bit of a snob  Anyway I often end up liking very different kinds of music too :D I had heard Rain On Yout Parade, just didn't know the title, I think it was on the radio in a shop a while ago... She has such a distinctive voice and style, unlike most pop singers, I immediately recognized her! Though I'd say ROYP isn't my favourite one, it's still a great tune.
I love the fact that through this forum I'm getting to know a lot of new things (including music) and incredibly nice people!
