So I heard Dianne took the day off yesterday because she was ill (poor Dianne!), so it was an Ash and Earnie show. I so wish I'd been there to see that.

It was the performance when Kerry had just gone offstage and her mic was still on and some girls on the front row had obviously been bugging her so she said to someone 'throw those (hair)pins at the girls in the front row' :o

Yeah, but she didn't mean for it to be heard cos her mic wasn't turned off when she went offstage and from what I've heard she'd had a long day and wasn't particularly in the mood for front row antics (but her performance was still fierce apparently!)

hahaha, that's amazing! i've got new found respect for kerry ellis.

I know! Me too! But is was reading one of the Kerry Ellis forums to get the jist of what had happened and there was a couple of girls who had been there and were like crying about it! And they were saying things like 'Kerry blanked us at stage door' blablabla but also according to those people Dianne and Oli still talked to them and covered for Kerry. Yay Dianne and Oli :D And Kerry for that matter!

Kerry didn't really 'blank' people at SD, just sort of booted Di out first and made a beeline for the end of the line, so she pretty much bypassed everyone opposite the door - I don't think she purposely saw people & though 'I'll ignore them'.

Backs up my theory on annoying Kerry fans! It's not a pop concert, it's the Theatre and you should act appropriately. Yes, cheer when people come on for the first time, after songs and at the end of the show, but to continually yap through a performance (which is one of the things I understand these girls did) isn't fair on the rest of the audience or the performers :x

Apparently they expected an apology afterwards? What about apologising to the people who were trying to enjoy the show?! Grrrrr, it's bad enough when people sit and text through stage shows - or, and I've had this, chat on their mobiles

That's my two cents anyway :)

I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels like this...when I go to watch a show, I go to watch the people in it NOT listen to audience members loudly singing along/screaming/talking on their phones!! I feel like such a misery guts tho, cos even in shows like Joseph when everyone sings along and stuff I'm there like 'SHUT UP! I'M TRYING TO LISTEN HERE!!!' lmao

That's what those "Sing-A-Long" Musical nights are for!!!!!

No, people singing along during the show is very annoying. Having had my little rant though, I must just mention that the first time I saw Wicked, one of Alexia's mates was sitting next to us - Wow, was she loud!! - BUT, she did then apologise during the interval and after for screaming through the show, she was just excited seeing her and got totally caught up in it! I still had to brace myself for the end of each song though for the screeching.

They just put it up on the website, Dianne's not doing the matinee on Thursday 28th May (it's half term so there's an extra mat so they get one show off)

Oh, and Lexi's not doing the matinee on Wednesday the 27th May.

Don't panic, she's alright, she even went on with a broken toe. She's gonna be off until 26th August because she's on holiday, and this was announced long in advance. She's just unlucky enough to break her toe just before her holiday dates :(
