Act One... was pretty straightforward.
NOMTW; We were sat Circle, so it was my first time seeing the show from up there, & it was actually a really nice view. The lights in the circle stayed on for most of the song, & then kinda flickered for ages which was strange & unfortunately I had no voice to cheeeer at 'loook, it's Glindaaa' but overall it was really awesooome & Di was amazing as always <3
TWAI; I was actually reaaaally impressed with Lexi, her acting is really, really good. & I especially liked her little dances ^-^
WITF; Was hilarious, as per usual. Di & Lexi acted really well off of each other & Di's little squeee after the Shiz students bit was the cutest.
DTL; Oli was GORGEOUS, as per. & I reaally liked Emily's Nessa, she seemed really believable.
Popular; Weeeell, HILARIOUS! I really do adore Di's Galinda <3 && first blooper of the night, after Lexi's second 'toss toss' she bounced right back onto the bed, the mattress kinda 'sprung' & her wig went everywhere... so Di came over to say 'well, uhm, well, uhm, WELL! you'll practice' while fixing her wig
INTG; Not my favourite song of the night, but Lexi was again really good. Still love the wee Falinda bit on the bridge ^-^
OSD; Was amazing from Circle, since for the first time I could focus on the whole stage rather than just [s]Di[/s] one person.
DG; Was reaaaally impressed with Lexi's performance, reaaaaally, reaaaally gooood. T'was slightly less impressive from Circle, since it didn't seem as if she was taking off as high, but the overall view was amaaaze.
Act Two... was freakin' hilarious.
TG; Started off amazingly, Di was gorgeous as usual. Theeeen, a rather large blooper... After Oli's 'you know me, I'm always happy' he ran for the stairs & fell up the stairs
He had to like, grab the bannister & wait a minute before running off. Di timed her 'Fiyeroo!' rather well, 'cos it seemed she was gasping after he fell... Last note was dead impressive, even though Di had to take a breath before going up to the high note.WWOTE; Loved Emily's performance, I would really like to see her Nessa again.
Wizard's Chamber Scene; Di stuttered on a few lines, eg. 'Your Oz-Ozness' but Harriet's fluff was the most amusing... 'force her to shi-to show herself' sounded like, 'force her to sh!t'
INTGR; Was beautiful, but also slightly amusing, as mid-way through the song, a phone went off two rows behind us, quite loudly...'All the single ladies, all the single ladies (8)' XD
ALAYM; Loved it, even though I rather dislike Fiyeraba as a couple.
FG; Beautiful, both really connected with each other & yes, I did cry
Lexi's melting scream was quite haunting tooo, & Di reaching out when she was melting made me sob even more Finale; More tears, & really lovely. Overall an amaaazing show.
There was a wee speech by Oli at the end & three cheers for three years of Wicked, balloons were released from the roof & of course, landed in the Stalls rather than the Circle. Badtimes.
BUT
My lovely teacher sidled up to some people in the foyer who had like, five pink and five green balloons each & got us a couple
GOODTIMES!
And HEY! "It's up~ that I fell~!" Well. I bet he sang that with more feeling than usual~ Hahaha.
